This year we will be doing our school supplies a little differently.

You will receive a shortened shopping list of things that you need to buy for the classroom - things like Clorox wipes, tissues, and paper towels - and items that are specific to your child - things like stretchy book covers and pencils.  I will also be sending "refill requests" home with the students periodically throughout the year as we do not have the storage space to hold enough of these essentials for the whole year.

I have already purchased items that will be used collectively in our classroom - things like markers, crayons, and pens - as well as things I need specific brands or types - dry erase markers, sticky notes, folders, pencil boxes, and notebooks. 

I am asking each child to bring $30-$40  with them on the first day of school to pay for these supplies (the extra $10 is consider a donation to help cover any unexpected extra costs).  These supplies have been bought by me, during the peak of the Back-to-School sales to ensure the lowest cost per student.  I hope this makes Back-to-School shopping less stressful, and hopefully saves you some money in the process!
